Sligo’s upland walks include two nationally accredited long-distance waymarked trails – The Sligo Way and The Miners Way& Historical Trail – both of which are can be accessed in daily sections. Also included in this category are a number of shorter looped walks which are generally walked in a couple of hours.  All of Sligo’s upland walks provide spectacular views of the wild and unspoiled country that is the West of Ireland.
